About Me!!

Some fun (and some not so fun) facts about me in no particular order, I love the color purple, I have OCD and was diagnosed over 20 years ago, I am a huge Disneyland nerd, my favorite poets are Pablo Neruda, Rumi, Langston Hughes, and Danez Smith, I have long term chronic lung complications from covid, I drink way too much bubbly brand water, I am genderqueer, I just started raising succulents, and I read the aforementioned Neruda in the original Spanish, however the same cannot be said of the Persian and Arabic of Rumi’s. I am an educator, poet, and glitter enthusiast with an MFA from Lindenwood University. Find me in Southern California with my partner, playing music too loud, constructing blanket forts, caring for my menagerie of teens, snakes, lizards, dogs, rabbits, and cats, and ridding my shoes of beach sand.
